It’s no shock that there are some cards with a lot of value in the Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal offerings, but which ones are the most expensive? We’ve got a nice and broad range here, although it’s worth noting that anybody going for the money cards will actually be better off going for the main Avatar: The Last Airbender set. Still, this set has some fantastic cards for casual play, so let’s get into it.

#10 Deadly Rollick (Showcase)

Deadly Rollick

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal, Rare

Deadly Rollick - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

Deadly Rollick is another card you can open from the Commander’s Bundle, and is one of the best removal spells you can play in the format. While you aren’t thrilled to pay four mana for this effect, you can cast it for free if you have your commander in play. It’s a fantastic card, and the card showcases Azula mastering lightning bending, and the bolts forming a deadly ring around her. It’s a perfect example of her innate and hungry talent, along with a reminder of why she always thought she was better than Zuko.

#9 Enlightened Tutor (Showcase)

Enlightened Tutor

Enlightened Tutor - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

First up is Enlightened Tutor, one of the non-foil promo cards you can open in the Commander’s Bundle. This one-mana card allows you to fetch up an artifact or enchantment, reveal it, and put that card into your hand. The artwork is a perfect representation of the card’s name, showing Aang in the Avatar State, who is surrounded by three former Avatars as he seeks counsel. It’s a lovely-looking card and is worth $28 at the moment.

#8 Avatar Roku, Firebender (Extended Art)

Avatar Roku, Firebender

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal, Mythic

Avatar Roku, Firebender - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

Avatar Roku, Firebender is one of the many incredible cards from the Jumpstart release, and is a six-mana red 6/6 giving you six red mana whenever anyone attacks, and you don’t lose the mana as steps end. You can then pay three red mana to give any creature on the battlefield +3/+0 until the end of the turn, which means you actually play politics with opposing creatures, which adds an interesting layer to Commander gameplay. The Extended Art version of this card is the one that’s the most expensive and only appears in Collector Boosters, and it’s currently worth around $29.

#7 Katara, Waterbending Master (Extended Art)

Katara, Waterbending Master

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal, Mythic

Katara, Waterbending Master - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

Katara, Waterbending Master is the first of the Master cycle from the Jumpstart to land on our list, and is a two mana 1/3 that gains you an experience counter whenever you cast spells during someone else’s turn. Then, you draw cards equal to your experience counters whenever Katara attacks, but you have to discard a card if you do so. Okay, so that’s hardly a downside, but it makes this version of Katara an incredible option for Commander play. Like with Avatar Roku, Firebender, the Extended Art printing of Katara, Waterbending Master is currently the most valuable.

#6 Aang’s Shelter (Teferi’s Protection – Borderless)

Teferi’s Protection

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal, Mythic

Teferi's Protection - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

Aang’s Shelter is a flavor reprint of Teferi’s Protection, which is one of the best defensive spells printed in Commander. The card makes it so that it prevents your life total from changing, gives you protection from everything, and phases all of your permanents out until your next turn. This is a strong and versatile effect in Commander, which is probably why we see Aang meditating in the Avatar State on it. It’s also probably why it’s fetching around $36 at the time of writing.

#5 Force of Negation (Borderless)

Force of Negation

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal, Mythic

Force of Negation - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

Force of Negation is one of the more popular countermagic cards you can play in Magic: The Gathering, which lets you counter a noncreature spell and exile it if it resolves. You can also cast the card by exiling a blue card from your hand instead of paying the full mana cost, which is an excellent rate. The artwork highlights Aang sealing Ozai’s bending ability, which is an incredible hype moment from the television show. You can find this one in Play and Collector Boosters, where it’s settling at $37 at the time of publication.

#4 The Banyan Tree (The Great Henge – Borderless)

The Great Henge

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal, Mythic

The Great Henge - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

The Banyan Tree pictures a massive tree, but more importantly, it’s a reprint of a very desirable card called The Great Henge. This is a nine-mana artifact that becomes cheaper to cast depending on the greatest power of your creatures on the battlefield, where the card also taps for two green mana and nets you two life whenever you do so. If that wasn’t enough, The Great Henge lets you draw a card whenever a nontoken creature you control enters, and you’ll also get to place a +1/+1 counter on it. Given how The Great Henge is one of the best green cards you can play in Commander, this version is running a Market Price of around $44 and is the cheapest version of this card.

#3 Fierce Guardianship (Showcase)

Fierce Guardianship

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal, Rare

Fierce Guardianship - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

Fierce Guardianship is one of the many Game Changers in the Commander format, and it’s easy to see why. This three-mana blue instant can counter a noncreature spell, but if you control your Commander, you can cast it for free. That’s a lot of value, and the artwork here really leans into the theme with Katara bending water to deflect incoming attacks. This is another of the many Commander Bundle exclusive cards you can open, and it’s around $50 right now.

#2 Deflecting Swat (Showcase)

Deflecting Swat

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal, Rare

Deflecting Swat - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

A similar sentiment can be said for Deflecting Swat, with this version showing off Zuko as he’s trying to grapple with the ability to bend lightning. With that, it isn’t a shock to see this printing performing very well on the secondary market, and it is currently around $60. Like with Fierce Guardianship, you can cast Deflecting Swat without paying its mana cost if you control a commander, and it lets you change the target of a spell or ability. This specific printing is also exclusive to Commander Bundles, and is one of the two random cards you can open from ten options. While Deflecting Swat remains expensive because of just how good it is in Commander, Redirect Lightning is a relatively affordable alternative if you’re looking for this effect.

#1 Toph, Earthbending Master (Extended Art)

Toph, Earthbending Master

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal, Mythic

Toph, Earthbending Master - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal - magic

Rounding things out is Toph, Earthbending Master, with the Extended Art printing currently the most valuable card from Avatar: The Last Airbender: Eternal-Legal. For four mana, Toph nets you an experience counter whenever a land enters under your control, and you’ll get to earthbend equal to the number of experience counters you have. Generally, this is an excellent card in Commander. Whether Toph is your commander or just in the deck, she’ll offer plenty for any Landfall or Land-based strategy in Commander. The Extended Art printing is exclusive to Avatar: The Last Airbender Collector Boosters, and is the only way you can acquire foil copies of the card.
